Choosing paint colors

September 28, 2016

That freshly painted blue wall in your friends house, that you can’t stop thinking about, probably won’t look the same in your house.
Be careful when choosing paint colors, as the light in your rooms makes all the difference. East or West facing rooms? How many light bulbs and what kind of lights you have in your room matter too.
Buy sample pots of the colors you’re thinking about. Paint squares of primed drywall with those samples and then move them around the room during the day. If you apply two coats to your sample board, you’ll get a good read of the true color.
Pay attention to your lighting and best of luck. Can’t get it figured out? Give us a call.
